Connecting to your data sources is the first thing you need to do when starting a Trial. The source may be your Tableau Account or SQL Database. To do so, choose the Settings section and click +Create next to Data Connection.
Tableau
To create a Tableau connection you will need a valid Hostname, Username, and password. Once your connection is complete, all of your Tableau Views and Dashboards will be available in PushMetrics Reports. The following ports need to be open in your firewall:
18.156.113.81:80
18.156.113.81:443
Tableau Public, Tableau Desktop or Tableau Reader are not supported.
SQL Database
In order to form a connection to you Database or Data Warehouse you will need the following information: Type, Hostname, Port, Database, and Username and Password. Your database may require you to whitelist Pushmetrics IP address before it will accept an incoming connection from our servers. All connections from Pushmetrics will come from following IP address:
